How To Take Bearings Our Of Metal Core Wheel

Terminator - Salvation

Meanwhile, it is not easy, the Time Line, which runs through the Terminator franchise to follow. The first two parts - created by Titanic director James Cameron - now have the status of young film classic. During the first episode revolutionized the action film of the 80s, T2 is a textbook example of perfectly balanced scripts and prime example of what could make photo realistic digital effects. JURASSIC PARK and all FX films that followed were without ILMs Assist in TERMINATOR 2 - JUDGEMENT DAY not have been possible. After that it was chaotic. Cameron was the story of the destruction and salvation of the earth by machines hand with part 2 (correctly) done told. This prevented, however, the film bosses not because director Jonathan Mostow, the leadership of TERMINATOR 3 - RISE OF THE MACHINES passed. The film coincided with fans through, so the following TV series TERMINATOR - THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES ignored the third part completely.

was recently now a new Terminator movie in the cinemas. Director McG made every effort, at least the three films to be more or less official predecessor to view, but had to leave the (now out) TV spin-off to the left. At the same time he wanted to make a fresh start, which is only on the date of the act (namely, AFTER the nuclear war, which almost depopulated the earth and brought the Skynet robots to power) from the rest of the films demarcated. Therefore probably a conscious decision to forgo a 4 in the title. Terminator - Salvation (Terminator - Salvation, 2009) was turned off rather quickly and made ahead so far talked about that fandom McG, who had after all done directed Charlie's Angels, a sensible use of the franchise dares not, and partly because Christian Bale stars came only at the project after his character (he took this time the role of John Connor) more space had been allocated in the script - only to then inglorious attention Set in an Internet-posted recording, in which he makes a cameraman before the assembled team to get to the screw.

"I love you!" - "I know!"

There are now TERMINATOR - THE SALVATION in Germany, even to purchase on DVD. Looking back, it must be said that the film the world has not changed. He has received acceptable reviews, recorded acceptable money and provides acceptable entertainment (more on that later). A reboot of the franchise, as McG and the studio had hoped for, it was not. The rights to the Terminator are for sale again and probably soon on a new production of forged land (Lions Gate is apparently difficult to interested). Maybe you would have to move the film around half a year and start it by AVATAR. For Sam Worthington - Bale the next star of the film - has James Cameron's mega-successful science-fiction-Mar certainly gained traction.

Skynet, the computer-controlled defense system, an awareness has developed and put out the humanity in the fire of a thermo-nuclear war almost. In the ruins of the past world of the human resistance fighting against the robotic terminators, the executors and Skynet's foot soldiers. The rebels know the prophecy to their leader John Connor (Christian Bale), and that this victory against the machine will bring about. But somehow you do not want to believe that the stubborn-headed, closed Connor could be in a situation. finds the same time, the old at the time sentenced to death for murder Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) in the wasteland that was once the United States again. He meets the young Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin), loses her new friend, however, when they get into a fundraising campaign of the terminators. Marcus and Connor find themselves decide and finally, Reese - from the Connor knows that he will one day be his own father - to free from the clutches of the machines.

"Where is that Ver # @% § te ! Grip "

As already mentioned above: TERMINATOR - THE SALVATION is acceptable, he could have been better if the terrible kitsch end would not have been so but the viewer has to deal with a noisy SF-action,.. the hurts not does not enter a new territory, but offers very good entertainment. Above all, the great special effects have done to me here. The various Terminator variants (especially the "Harvester" with seienn traditional sounds) are imaginative and technically implemented properly. Arnold Schwarzenegger's pseudo-cameo also provides for a surprise. The script is the effect rather flat, and the acting is not a milestone off the ground. But this one has not really expected.

If the script that is a little bit would have been better had TERMINATOR - THE SALVATION all the makings of a first-class film. Just as it looked in the end, but it is still "just" a good action thriller, which should satisfy primarily male clientele. Rummer and it crashes at every corner, beautiful women swing their ... Weapons, and the story about the TERMINATOR is at least minimal further spun logical. When I was a big fan of the franchise before, I went to the movies with low expectations, and I felt at the end of a pleasant surprise. If one keeps in check so his excitement, could you really have fun with the film.

The end of the world

It's been a problem if the DVD on the cover of the involvement of horror star Christopher Lee will be advertised with a picture that comes from a completely different movie. The disfigured visage is not clear from the present THE END OF THE WORLD (End of the World, 1977), but of THE CASTLE OF GREY (already presented here. When you consider that the said strip is not even good, one wonders . why one has used this image This becomes clear when you look at the opinion that Mr. Lee is now even from the end of the world, to listen: He was fictitious devices attracted to the project (supposedly should such U.S. stars as John Carradine to be of the party), but had to find the spot that the title of the film was chosen to be quite right.

The scientist Andrew Boran (Kirk Scott) is on the way for a series of talks with his wife Sylvia (Sue Lyon) in the United States. At the same time he discovered that are sent from a place quite near him extraterrestrial signals from Earth into space. This announce terrible disasters. Boran research the origin of these signals leads her first to his old acquaintances military commander Beckerman (Lew Ayres) and finally on a nun's abbey, led by Pergado father (Christopher Lee). The couple must quickly determine Boran, that nothing in this monastery is as it seems.

Christopher Lee sees red ...

Rarely have I seen such a boring film. It must happen a lot that I feel tempted either to the view forward button on the remote control, or the DVD immediately identify completely. To preserve my journalistic integrity, I have done neither the one nor the other, but it was hard, I can tell you. In THE END OF THE WORLD, there is nothing that the viewer can also just kind of keep them working, as all Aspects of the film are simply uninteresting. If it were at least fantastic trash, but no ...

figurehead of the strip is clearly horror icon Lee. While he still delivers a prologue in comic illustration, he gives the rest of the film to make at least trouble the best of a bad job. The other cast members are at least as far as to mention positive that they do not break out in the abysmal written dialogue in peals of laughter. It would be interesting for sure to review the outtakes. As the pesky synth music would be missing, which runs through the entire film. In the end, it has become the acoustic equivalent of a car accident: One would not listen, but can not tear it.

"What do you peep's?"

runs in the last ten minutes to THE END OF THE WORLD eventually to full speed. While the demise of the planet is represented in blue-tinged vintage footage of various natural disasters, the audience gets a look at an embarrassing alien design and the likely end of the least interesting film history necessary. As at the end of The suspended on strings blue ball called Earth in an explosion goes down, the frighteningly reminiscent of the comedy Amazon Women on the MOND, the audience could not be less for the Exitus his home planet of interest. Oops. Those were now some spoilers. But no matter, those of you reading this are to look at the strip hopefully not anyway.

THE END OF THE WORLD is just a lousy movie. Up to the last setting, there is really nothing that could even begin to be entertaining. Well, now that Mr. Lee was knighted, because somehow you have to reward the poor man but for having survived such crap. Conclusion: Please ignore this film, let him in the store or online mail-order are - no matter at what price it is offered. THE END OF THE WORLD is really that bad.

My Itunes Wont Let Me Drag Songs Into A Playlist

The demon with bloody hands

The next time that you, dear reader, you have to undergo a heart transplant, does not believe what you tell them versnobbten expert at the German medical profession. Everything you need for such a procedure, is a barn, in a kettle of hot water in the life-sustaining heart, a drunken doctor and a country run with shaky fingers scalpel. This meets the sloping spectators in THE DEMON WITH THE BLOODY HANDS (Blood of the Vampire, 1958), not a Hammer film, though the script by Jimmy Sangster (the British for the horror wrought in the same year DRACULA wrote comes from) but the story takes place in and around the infamous Carlstadt, one of the places in which the famous vampire at the behest of hammer frequently about haunted. This is not a vampire movie, even if the English title suggests this (probably erupted from DRACULA to the wave around the bloodsuckers with ride).

The year is 1880: Jean-Pierre (Vincent Ball) is on trial. The young doctor is a patient died off, because he has treated with advanced methods. Apparently has even approached his former mentor to him. And so Jean-Pierre lands to the dismay of his bride Madeleine (Barbara Shelley) for life in a maximum security prison. This is of the sinister Dr. Calli Stratus (Donald Wolfit) led abusing the inmates for his horrific experiments. When Jean-Pierre gets the offer to help the mad scientist, the doctor does not offer this. When confronted with the scope of Calli Stratus' research is clear, he begins to forge a plan of escape. As appears Madeleine, in which Calli Stratus' hunchbacked assistant Carl (Victor Maddern) falls for direct ...

"One more word about my hairstyle, and I'll shoot!"

Why the movie is its lavish layout, good make-up effects and the authentic atmosphere. Beautiful is the portrayal of the hero. Jean-Pierre (Vincent Ball plays very well) is an ambitious doctor who is open to everything new. That he enters into a pact with the devil, he takes into account in order to facilitate the self-adhesive, but also to advance scientific research. It takes a moment to fully understand all that he has set the wrong priorities. scattered Besides the usual horror cliches, the writer Sangster in its history, we can add a good portion of the outbreak drama à la THE COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO, what the (for its time, quite gory) history a little verve and adventure character awards. With the secondary character Auron (Bryan Coleman), the film's plot is driven also sent.

What's wrong with the film is its incredible naivety that would also need to be noticed in 1958. It was Dr. Calli Stratus and Jean Pierre, who apparently first employed with the categorization of blood groups, and how to correct heart transplant, has already been mentioned above. Rather unimaginatively, moreover, the hunchbacked assistant of mad scientist. Not that you have seen it a thousand times elsewhere ... It does not become better, that this same end remembers that THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE-DAME has shown that hunchback and (tragic) can be heroes. The director also acts a little dusty and recalls in many moments from the imagery of the old Universal horror movies. It is unable to upgrade some lame plotpoints scenically.

"That's a nasty pimple. Wait, I'll help you."

Let's go to the "vampire" in the original English title. One may confidently ask what it should. Other than a clumsy attempt to attach to DRACULA, there is no one to one. In the prologue, it is placed in such a way that the unsuspecting citizens Carlstadt Calli Stratus thought was a vampire and picketed him for it, but here Sangster and director Henry Cass have wasted potential, explore further. In the end, poor motivation remains a villain, which appears optically as the rotund brother of Bela Lugosi. Unintentionally funny it gets in the showdown, as Donald Wolfit is used a double by a stuntman, who now has no resemblance to him.

Nett. But nothing more. Who are the powerful imagery and haunting atmosphere of the Hammer films is used, will have to move to the enjoyment of THE DEMON WITH THE BLOODY HANDS concluded that attempted here, unfortunately, was only tried in vain to reach the real thing. There are some good points, but the potential is simply given away in many places. Entertaining is the strip but all, and should fans of Gothic horror prepare 82 minutes of solid entertainment.

Is My Refrig Compressor Bad

Dracula 3000

The worst film of all time. I have found him, and I have long sought. Even though my reviews might occasionally appear to the contrary can be, I am someone who rarely throw superlatives around. I am still of the opinion that Super Mario Galaxy is the best game I've ever played. However, it has received only 99% on my scale. It could be, finally, that one day an even better game in my sweaty fingers will land. In Dracula 3000 however, I am sure that there is nothing that should not be intentionally bad, what could be lousy, as they spawn. This movie is so beyond to move from the concept of trash that for all the curiosity no incentive to punish himself with the move to DVD in the home player.

I've expected nothing good. Therefore you have to look at only the actors troupe that have been lured from their holes (I would be interested really looked like their salaries): Caspar STARSHIP TROOPERS Van Dien, Erika Eleniak Baywatch, Coolio and Udo Kier (who is also (!) really all play along, which has moving pictures). But I can still sit on one: Alexandra Kamp. That's right. Alexandra Kamp. Wow. It is also found in the credits a number of German filmmakers, so I really have the impression that this film represents a kind of tax write-project. I just can not imagine that someone else has really believed that this strip could be a good idea. And if so: how he feels after he has seen the film?

help counter bad movies do not even wooden stakes.

In 3000 it was communism seems to be related to the prevailing form of society on Earth, and the practice of religion is strictly prohibited. The Digging-ship Mother III, commanded by Captain Van Helsing (Casper Van Dien) is found on the abandoned ship "Demeter". On board the crew found the remains of the communique Anders; the rest of the crew or the cargo is nothing to see - except for a few coffins, that something does not seem to agree. Before the group can orient to Van Helsing and Mina Murry intern (Alexandra Kamp) will start in the "Mother III" and chases them leaderless. While advising what to do, the technician 187 (Coolio) transforms into a vampire and falls on his former friends. crew member meets Aurora (Erika Eleniak) to a mysterious Passenger of the Demeter: Count Orlock (Langley Kirkwood) ...

more about the plot is unnecessary and a waste of space. I do not know where to begin to describe where this film has problems, so I try just a brief list of all the bad things: the actor (D-level), the effects (PC games in the 90s looked better off), make-up (laughable), the end (a insolence in bags). The worst by far is definitely the story. The writers have tried to incorporate as many allusions to Dracula and its media outings in an action that looks like a cross between Alien and EVENT HORIZON. Unfortunately, the least of which arise only any sense and are just there so that some day the words "Van Helsing" or "Orlock" fall etc.. Aaargh. While you have (n) then it held out to the end, and the hope seems to be met, now at least for a defoliated see Erika Eleniak to, will suffer a coitus interruptus, as the budget then has probably not been enough for the quite persuade Eleniak still considerable help to draw blank. Instead, the film belongs to easy. Just like that. No climax, no tension. Nothing. End.

This man has DRACULA viewed 3000 times in a row ...

DRACULA 3000 (2004) looks like an amateur film on which no one has been involved, which also comes close to an idea of how to make a movie, let alone tell a coherent story. The scenes were indiscriminately cut to Udo Kier appear in the action to be. Probably because they realized at the end that you have a real "star" needed to stand out in the mass of direct-to-DVD production. But, wait: At least in Spain DRACULA had 3000 theatrical release. This movie was anywhere to be seen in a movie on the big screen. This must be thought of again. Probably the lender fell for the title, the suspect does so, that we are dealing with a continuation of Wes Craven (worse) DRACULA series have to do.

As I recently wrote elsewhere: The Dracula fan you have to deal with celluloid accidents. But this really is the limit, the bottom of the barrel and a mourning ceremony for anything that can make a movie bad. If a movie is so bad that you can not even be entertained by his wickedness, this should be a red flag for any lover good entertainment. If there is a hell for movie fans, it looks like DRACULA 3000th

Lines Of Green And Blue Lyrics

avatar - Pandora

speak All of AVATAR. And all the way to go. Okay, now that was not a particularly skillful play on words but it certainly is true. If there is a movie of the hour, then it is the record-breaking AVATAR. Director James Cameron has left after TITANIC long time to once again conjure up a great movie on the big screen. He had planned to begin after his ocean-drama with the production of its long-held dream project. But the then-poor CGI possibilities stopped him. Only with the appearance of Gollum in THE LORD OF THE RINGS - THE TWO TOWERS Cameron decided - so to legend - that it was time to let go AVATAR on mankind. Within a short time the science-fiction movie made it to No. 2 in the all-time best lists - just behind Titanic.

Here saw it at the beginning probably does not look that Standt AVATAR with a hit in the wings. For years, Cameron hypte the project itself by announcing that the special effects of the film everything that has been here should put to shame. And in 3D AVATAR would leave the competition far behind. Even better for the planet Pandora, which was the scene of the story, a whole new ecosystem created on the computer. Then came the trailer. The reactions were cautiously or disappointed. The scenes which the audience got to see at that time, looked like a video game, and what was evident from the plot seemed like a plate Ökofabel. Now is AVATAR - Pandora (Avatar, 2010) for a few weeks here and punish all the doubters (including me personally) from. How the film manages it?

"Yes, that is correct. We breed here Super Smurfs."

The planet Pandora is a seeming paradise. Although its atmosphere is poisonous to humans, the world does with its dense forests, the incredible diversity of flora and fauna and their nature-loving indigenous people, the blue-skinned Na'vi, as one world, on the spread of man could never . Nevertheless, the inhabitants of planet Earth have cast an eye on Pandora. Only him to find the extremely rare and valuable material Unobtanium. Unfortunately, he comes straight from among the holy places of Na'vi. And you want to be a) can not move it and b) their places of worship not sacrifice the filthy lucre of the people. The mining company RDA developed a perfidious plan: The Avatar Project. In the test tube without consciousness Na'vi are grown, their DNA with the genes in each case a man was mixed. This is now in his mind that "Avatar" dine and thus break in enemy territory, to live there Na'vi it "convincing" that it would be better to let the natural resources of the people. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is one of the people who manage the blogs should, after his twin brother was killed, and now only he can take control of his avatar. The
intoxicated after an accident at the wheelchair-bound Sully from his first outings in his new body, he can run again, jump and move freely. Soon he finds access to the Na'vi and makes friends with the young warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). The more Sulley learns the culture of Na'vi, the more he falls in love with this alternative life. But in the home base is Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang) impatient. He and the company directors Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi) will not hesitate to expel the Na'vi by force from their homes when the should fail project "Avatar". Sully and Na'vi researcher Grace (Sigourney Weaver) is not much time.

Everyone asks about the effects, and I can say. "Yes, they are as good as you think" At no time do we have the impression that one is dealing with a special-effects extravaganza that is created on the computer. Although the actors have played mostly against green screens, they manage to totally convincing through jungles, caves, trees, mountains and space ships to travel and interact with the totally realistic and plastic-looking beings. The facial expressions and gestures of the Na'vi is completely convincing and with the emotions of the characters so well that one could increase the tears in his eyes. AVATAR should give yourself absolutely to 3D, since the technology - to develop the effects and beautifully put together pictures their full effect - apart from the general shortcomings of the system.

My first criticism, however, can not long in coming. For the flashy announced ecosystem of the planet Pandora, but this has yet surprisingly unimaginative. Basically, all animals and plants of that oh-so-strange world are heavily based on earthly life. Everything looks so like having horses, birds, cats, etc. crossed with dinosaurs and colorfully painted screaming. Similarly, the culture of Na'vi. Here I would have exactly what you wish for greater strangeness, so that the audience could understand Sulley initial reluctance, and would have opened together with the protagonists of the foreign beings. Aliens kiss? Laugh? Cry? Everything, like us humans? This works in STAR WARS, perhaps even in STAR TREK and DOCTOR WHO, but in a film that wants to be oh so realistic, that is very clumsy.

The first twenty minutes AVATAR seemed to confirm my initial fears. Planting so horribly bad (in the constant "quality" appears repeatedly in the film) I would not expect in the most expensive movie ever made. In addition, the story is not very innovative. Similar with similar intentions, you've already seen dozens of times, and it only has to turn children's television (even if you should see there a few machine guns and battle-mechs). In addition, the action on several holes, screaming just asking for a extended version on DVD. This still join various logic errors, etc. Before louder technology gadgets James Cameron has apparently here geschludert the script and cut considerably. For cynics, the matter would be eaten with it, and AVATAR checked off.

"I do not understand. Why should I turn around?"

But: It is not. James Cameron is able to knit from this naive story an epic, one pack and not let go. The exciting end leaves the viewer with a deep sense of satisfaction and is quite capable of encouraging the audience to seek something closer to nature. Most elements that Avatar is a deal would not in itself lame, naive and implausible. But together they develop a true cinematic experience, as it has not seen her for a while. I do not know how he manages, but it's like that. Perhaps this also bear the responsibility of actors who are here with great commitment, and the story amazing and carry forward. Everything is very classic, and although most of the characters already had x-times to see something like this, they help in conveying the story masterfully.

I'm using the pre-thoughts went to the movies to find a lame duck. I came with the image of a mighty eagle, high above the clouds out. Cameron has shown with his dream project that you can make a blockbuster brand of popcorn cinema on the legs, but has nevertheless something of a soul. It is really difficult to describe why AVATAR with all its problems does not fail, but a craft, and - yes, I say - artistic success is. Perhaps one can say it like this: A movie that comes from the U.S., and has such a positive, open-minded and embossed message of tolerance, while fantastic, maintains is just a real gem.

How To Connect Tv To Multiple

The horror of Black Torment

late 50s and early 60s horror films were Britain's No. 1 export. In particular, the strip from the home made hammer in the home, the U.S. and Europe big money. No wonder that the producers resourceful competitors do not want to leave all of the pie. And so did the Tony Tenser, who had previously worked as a press spokesman and the distributor, and Michael Klinger, the owner a striptease restaurant together. After she had initially shown in a cinema, had the problems with the British censors, they had started after a trip as a lender in order, first sex films, 1964 but with THE GREY ON BLACK TORMENT (The Black Torment) a horror movie in the best British Gothic-style produce.

"My God, You beautiful teeth!"

Sir Richard (John Turner) who married after the death of his beloved wife again. With his new bride Elizabeth (Heather Sears), he returns after the honeymoon back to the manor of his family. But in his home, Richard is very received unfriendly. It surely means that he should have gone recently to a young girl and murdered. But how can that be? At the material time, the Richard knows he was still with Elizabeth. It gets worse: soon are accumulating evidence that his first wife haunting as a ghost on the property. Richard is sinking ever deeper in the gloom. Neither Elizabeth nor his best friend Seymour (Peter Arne) seem to be able to help him. One night, roll over the events.

BLACK TORMENT is not a true horror movie. Fans of Hammer Strip will end up be a little disappointed that a real, polynuclear detective story behind all the costumes and lavishly decorated sets is hidden. Speaking of: There are also the strengths of the film: The equipment is beautiful and has to hide behind the productions of the competition in any way. The music is atmospheric, and the director conjures evocative images on the screen or TV. The unused actors do their job well, and the German Synchro is done very carefully.

"Does the saddle to my coat?" What do you think? "

The film was in Germany once advertised so that all who betray the end, be hit by a curse (which will be in German bias also points again). In order to point to make sure I'm going to hold back with real spoilers so. But unfortunately it is true that one has guessed the movie's resolution after a few minutes. What in the '60s was perhaps even more surprising (but I do not believe), is now cliche and predictable. Too bad, because then the movie loses what should actually wear it. Here, the writer come up with some tricks interests and ideas. The end features a thrilling duel, and that all the characters get more ambivalent and not entirely sympathetic, and thus have a "smooth finish", gives the film a brittle, realistic charm - if you will. THE GRAY TO BLACK

TORMENT is undoubtedly an asset to every friend British horror fare. Technically, the film can keep up with hammer in any case. When the cocky in denouncing then become the non-starter, does it hurt so. Nevertheless, given a certain tension remains, as at the end then perhaps one or the other (smaller) takes the form of surprise, so that one sits at the latest in the Grand Final at the edge of his seat and chews his nails. Conclusion: Acceptable to good, but expandable.

Seizures And Orgasims

Dracula Eight

as Dracula fan and collector of film adaptations of the substance to the world-famous bloodsucker you are already doing now and then some at. While there are films that have been received as an absolute classic in the history, others have - to say the least - deficits. EIGHT of Dracula (The Return of Dracula, 1958) I had not heard anything until I discovered him rummaging in a well-known Internet sales platform. True to the motto "Anything where Dracula stands on it belongs to my DVD shelf, grabbed me and am now a movie in my collection rich. But it's worth to sacrifice 82 minutes (the duration of the film) of his precious free time?

Dracula (Francis Lederer) has there is tired. Behind the Iron Curtain people make his life difficult, so that he is compelled to feels to migrate to the West. The king of the vampires killing a Romanian artist (Norbert Schiller) and assumes his identity. As Bellack Gordal he travels by train (yup. ..) and moves to California with Aunt Mayberry (Greta Granstedt), which has seen her supposed nephew not for ages, and therefore does not recognize that the prince of darkness with only limited to the actual relative has no similarity at all. Even Cousin Rachel (Norma Eberhardt) receives the apparent Bellack with open arms. It will only suspicious, to be a cat of her brother dies (yup. ..) and finally, her best friend Jennie (Virginia Vincent). While Dracula has his eye on Rachel, life is coming from the home of the vampire ...

Smoking can be deadly ... as you can see ...

Oh yes ... I wish that I could say that we are dealing here with a trashy film that has but just because. Unfortunately this is not so, because he is just plain boring. Basically, he retells the classic Dracula story, the beginning of jumps in Transylvania and goes straight into the second part where Dracula moves to England. Here is England but was replaced by an America of the 50s, the germ-free could not be. The action frame extends But with such a yawning low speed that you begin to understand what Dracula means when he talks about a centuries of life.

There is exactly one atmospheric scene, and that is when the undead Jennie a policeman lured into a trap. Your light in a dress-clad figure, seen from a distance has already scary. Unfortunately, this will be promptly taken ad absurdum, as a murdered policeman said moment of a wild dog (wolf?), Which is easily visible with a collar (the dog, not the cop). Who now believes that the film could perhaps be meant in a humorous, which I would only say that we are dealing with such a creaky "serious" Movie have to do that it's been dusted. Any hint of irony was nipped in the bud. One may not believe that we are dealing with a production made by United Artists. Mind you, the company that sent shortly JAMES BOND in series ...

Please! Take this cross, only let us out of this contract!

Perhaps we may be able actors rauszureißen something? Think again. Pretty much the entire ensemble remains colorless. The most colossal mistake is the production of Dracula. Unless you want to be directed by Paul Landres (a TV veteran) the chief vampire pedophile act as a vacuum cleaner salesman. A "great" idea but then had Landres. is impaled in the moment when Jennie bubbles, for some frames in the best of their blood red (while the rest of the film is in black and white). For an American film, perhaps alarmingly, but compared to the ridiculous play DRACULA made by Hammer, who came in the same year the cinema, and at least four classes of this production.

Bizarrely, Dracula EIGHT carries in the U.S. now and then the title of THE FANTASTIC DISAPPEARING MAN. Sadly this is by far the most interesting in the whole movie. One of the least interesting films and palest of the substance to the vampire from Transylvania. Besides absolute Dracula fans and collectors old horror movies (crap, this is true both for me too) are not recommended. But poor you go anyway. Ever heard of DRACULA 3000 is one? No? I will discuss in the near future here.

I Am Legend (Alternative Theatrical Version)

Two years ago I discussed here the apocalyptic action-horror film I AM LEGEND. The appropriate entry can be found here . The film was due to lead actor and professional Midas Will Smith into an international success. Meanwhile, the studio is working even on a prequel, which the history of the dramatic story will shed more light. Despite these aspects of the film was anything but really good.
Since
would be mentioned first, the special effects, which were for a film this price range absolutely pathetic. The biggest drawback, however, was the shocking bad end, all the subtle touches of intelligence that the story was ready to date, completely threw overboard. It was also finally brought out the religious club that gave I AM LEGEND a completely irrational and implausible hope for humanity. This gave the film to date at least sound the death knell. Ultimately, the reason was the author of Richard Matheson - based on whose novel the film - completely hide the selected title.

"shit, the fat's Blogger already has abandoned me." appeared

on DVD alongside the theatrical version, but an alternative version cut that was on the cover grandly billed as "controversial". This is of course laughable, but in fact is reason enough to mention the movie in my blog for a second time. Because this director Francis Lawrence has done a lot right. Instead of propagating a philosophy where everything is exotic and otherness destroyed at the end of tolerance is mediated, without being identical with the raised index finger so.

"Why do I still see soooooooooooooooooo mies from? "

The effects are still bad, but the great atmosphere that pervades the movie can now be enjoyed in full. I can not stop emphasizing how much better the film by choose the decision, a totally "un-American 'end (at least in terms of U.S. policy after September 11, 2001). I AM LEGEND is thus not a milestone. But still a good film, the right accents between eerie, tragic and hope (for two intelligent races on this planet) is.

That the title is still not identified, sometimes I hide from ...

The Difference In Prism Colored Pencils Derwent

Ghostbusters - The Video Game

last year celebrated here already presented classic movie Ghostbusters its 25th anniversary. That is reason enough to meet him a lot of media interest came. Besides the fact that the rumors that could take 20 years after the start of the first installments of a third form of concrete were finally discovered the world of video and computer games, the creepy-comic film franchise back for themselves. Under the auspices of the Horror experts Terminal Reality (NOCTURNE, BloodRayne) was a game that should satisfy the template. While it is mainly the C64 and Apple II computers as a technical milestone (Sprachausgabe!) be seeing great-GHOST BUSTERS by David Crane as a small classic, but from today's perspective, makes the whole rather less fun. Implementations for various computer systems and consoles, as well as playing out of the question from acceptable to poor Versoftungen precipitated from Ghostbusters II were also there to impress anybody.

This time it was therefore a completely different way. We undertook Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, her character actor (besides Bill Murray) and screenwriters of the two films. This should ensure that could be transmitted first, the popular mix of horror and humor 1:1 in the medium of video game that was secured to the other, that the story was incorporated in the Canon of the previous films. To make the perfect coup, was Terminal Reality (which had temporarily change the Publisher Activision to Atari) to win the most important actor as spokesman. Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Co. slipped so again in their probably most famous roles. Sigourney Weaver was unfortunately left out, so Murray Peter Venkman with Alyssa Milano (Who's the Boss, Charmed), a new love-interest was put aside. While Terminal Reality to the "big" versions for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC care, created by other developers adapted versions for DS, PS2 and Wii. The latter we want to here pay.

It does not bother anyone if the streams are crossed.

Since the Wii does not have the graphic power of Xbox 360 and Co., one had to rethink this course. Rather than simply to deliver a technically stripped down version (THE FORCE UNLEASHED says hello), we sat here on going a completely different way. Instead of photo-realism to imitate, to use one cartoon style, which reflects the main characters, ghosts and environments in a fun way. Fortunately we had here but not inspired by the animated series The Real Ghostbusters, but based on the the film templates. Music and language, as well as story and game mechanics took over the coarse one largely of the "big" versions. In addition, donated to the Wii, but gamers a multiplayer mode (where the frame rate collapses, but something), and the option between a male or female protagonists to choose. A female ghost hunter? How did it happen?

Two years after the events of Ghostbusters II Ghostbusters Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddmore are still busy in the shop. Meanwhile, they even work quite officially commissioned by the city to the expulsion of several Spukerscheinung the quality of life to secure New York. It has to do even so much that it takes on an apprentice, to manage the growing workload. Soon emerged with the marshmallow man is also an old friend again: Gozer, a Sumerian deity, the ghost hunters had already brewed in 1984, almost the end of the world, is back. After Venkman and Co. from the destroyer marshmallow foam have made, they work in finding out who is responsible for the return Gozers. They run into a cult of the deceased architect Ivor Shandor and the sweet archivist Ilyssa ...

At first glance, the Wii appears with its motion controller made for a game to GHOSTBUSTERS. And actually, it's great fun the proton beam with the Wiimote to swing around and fling against walls and ceilings and spirits to roll in connection with a casual Schlenker the nunchucks a trap. The control system works well and does not put on. Only in the heat of the moment, it can happen that pull up the cross hairs and it takes a moment to adjust the camera again. Graphically, the game makes a decent impression. The comic-like graphic style of the Wii is good, and are to Ray to put the characters aptly. Musically, the game alongside new compositions to the brilliant soundtrack composed by Elmer Bernstein of the first part (next to the famous title song by Ray Parker Jr.). In addition, the game trumped the Germans with the famous voice actor, the actor.

"Someone blew his nose, and you want to keep it?"

But unfortunately is not gold that glitters: The Wii version was, unfortunately, in comparison with the next-generation versions circumcised scenically. Many gags are missing or have been implemented graphically crude. This is helped by the German translation, which comes almost entirely free joke. Too bad, but unfortunately this is not to change, says that Peter Venkman with a somewhat different voice, because voice actors Arne Elsholtz for health reasons at the time of recordings had vocal problems. Where in the English original, at least light the jokes fail, but the overall story. Although the history of Ramis yes' and Aykroyd comes spring, and the two are of the opinion that we are dealing with GHOSTBUSTERS - have to do is to actually THE VIDEO GAME with a new movie, the plot a real disappointment. The beginning is a tired Nachkauen the first part, while the rest are completely lost in paranormal Wust. As time Dan Aykroyd to director Ivan Reitman with the idea of the first Ghostbusters movie came up, it was precisely this problem: namely, that the story was much to be lifted. From the basic Aykroyd Harold Ramis was put aside. Here it acts to Aykroyd as if his ideas of the past brought out again. It came out something that should motivate themselves for video-game-conditions the Gamers hardly endure to the end, to experience the "Resolution".

fatigue In addition, the game mechanics in the long run. to disassemble the entire inventory of levels, (unlock the modes rather tepid) for hidden bonus items, makes only the first sections of fun. The real ghost hunting it - despite a lack of variety - at least fun and the boss (even if the "big" versions sometimes differ) are entertaining and surprisingly staged. Occasionally is even true horror, when strange noises and creepy music (with time but also rather boring) announce the proximity of a ghost. Unfortunately, the game is too terse, and we have seen after 6-8 hours in the first run, everything.

What remains is a game that should be directed primarily at fans. Will even have fun and stay until the showdown. Then there is nothing that justifies a further run. Even if you should not have unlocked all the extras, one will hardly be able to muster the motivation to act again against Gozer, Shandor and the other New York-threatening demons. Too bad. Here was a game the potential to put the ghost hunters a monument. In the end we are dealing only with a quasi-film reaction, which gives away a lot of potential and still no new offer has truly captivating.
